What is Gouri?
Gouri is an injectable treatment made by the South Korean company Dexlevo. It is a fully liquid form of polycaprolactone (PCL), a biodegradable material also used in other medical devices, including some dermal fillers.
Unlike a filler, Gouri contains no particles and is not designed to add volume. After injection it spreads through the treated skin, and the manufacturer describes it as a collagen stimulator, intended to support the skin’s own collagen production over time.

What is Gouri?
Gouri is an injectable collagen stimulator made by Dexlevo. It is a fully liquid form of polycaprolactone (PCL), a biodegradable material, and it contains no particles.
Is Gouri a skin booster?
Gouri is sometimes described as a skin booster, but it is more accurately classified as a liquid PCL collagen biostimulator. Unlike hyaluronic acid skin boosters, which mainly focus on hydration, Gouri is described by its manufacturer as a collagen stimulator, intended to support the skin’s own collagen production over time.
How is Gouri different from Radiesse or a filler?
A filler adds volume where it is placed. Radiesse is also a collagen stimulator, but it is a gel containing tiny particles of calcium hydroxylapatite. How many sessions will I need?

Does Gouri hurt, and is there downtime?
Injections can cause some brief discomfort, and a numbing cream may be used. Redness, swelling, small bumps, tenderness or bruising may occur and usually settle over several days. You will receive individual aftercare advice.
When might I notice a difference?
Any change develops gradually over the following weeks and months as the skin responds. Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.
How long do results last?

Are there any risks or side effects?
As with any injectable treatment, there are risks. The most common are temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. Less often, lumps, infection or an inflammatory reaction may occur. Taise will go through the risks with you before any treatment.
Is Gouri suitable for everyone?
No. It may not be recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection in the area, with certain autoimmune conditions or with a tendency to keloid scarring. Your full medical history will be reviewed first.
